In The Company of Hounds is a labor of love.
I began my career as a translator, but always had an interest and passion for fashion. My mother was an avid seamstress, and I grew up watching her make her own dresses. Later on, I decided to study art and graphic design in school and expanded my eye for color and patterns.
Translating books to designing fashion was a big change, but it actually started with another passion: horses. As a horseback rider, I was constantly on the hunt for the perfect riding jacket. The riding jackets I found either didn't fit well, were of poor quality and foreign made, or the color and material didn't suit my personal style. Instead of continuing to search for one, I decided to design and sew my own.
That was three years ago and I soon found myself designing not only the perfect shirt and vest to go with my new jacket, but I expanded my portfolio to include the furry friends in my life. Whether you're looking for the perfect riding jacket, a perfectly tailored shirt, or a beautiful dog coat to help keep your dog warm, "In the Company of Hounds" has allowed me to combine my passions and connect with others.
